Question from laxer:
Could you tell me how you would 'pinch' your stick and what it does for you?
Answer:
'Pinching' or 'Baking' your head can greatly increase the accuracy of the stick by making it more narrow.
This is not recommended for beginners, however, because it makes it harder to catch because the face
become narrower also. So if you think you can catch well enough and want accuracy, this is for you.
First, place a pencil or something that is at least 6 1/2 inches long by the scoop at the widest part of the
head. Then, tie the bottom together to where you want it to be when your done. The ball has to be able
to roll out when the stick is tilted past forward. Now you can either: A) Place the head in boiling water
until the string loosens (this means the stick has molded to where you want it to be), then take it out and
let it dry, or B) If you have a gas stove, turn it on, and hold the head above it (use heat, not fire) until the
head becomes pliable, then let it dry, or C) Put it in the microwave for 5 minutes at 30 second intervals
(NOT RECOMMENDED). The last way is to tie it really tight and leave it alone for a few days. It will flex
back a little but wont weaken the head considerably.
Question from Keenan:
i was wondering what one could do with a tennis ball full of pennies once its full of pennies?
Would you use it to toss around with friends?
Answer:
You could use a tennis ball to throw around with friends, shoot on goal, cradle, or do just about
anything else. The goal is to strengthen your wrists so that when you shoot, pass, or cradle with a
regulation ball your wrists will be stronger and wont get tired, resulting in harder shots and passes.
Question from anonymous:
What is the Best Head?
Answer:
There is no real best head. The head you use is based on your preference,
whether you like pinched, offset, etc. However, the top heads on the market now are the
Warrior Razor, the STX Bionic, the Brine Matrix, and the DeBeer Wizard.
