.:Lacrosse Stick Dying Contest - Results:.

Grand Prize Winner
Heres how they did it:
The revolution: I washed the revolution and then I put some hot glue from my dad's glue gun. On the scoop,
I did stripes and an "H". On the sides I did a splatter with the glue. I then prepared the dye bath with forest
green rit dye. This time my revo was the first head to be dyed. I stuck it in at an angle and pulled it out
slowly, creating a fade effect that I thought looked pretty cool because there was still some white in the
head. After an hour of peeling the glue, I strung it up with 6d Mesh that i spray painted silver. If you look
closely, my head might have a bit of a purple tint because the dye is fading since i play with it so much.
Runner Up
ok the way I dyed this stick was quite strange. First I dyed it carolina blue with the glue gun technique.
I used one pack of kiwi dye. The colour was royal blue. I left it like this for a few months than i decide to
dye it again. I then bought two packs of tintex black dye. I covered the stick with hot glue then dipped the
scoop in. I left it in until it was extremely dark blue. I then put the throat in the dye and left it in the black
dye untill in was fairly dark blue. Then i took all the glue off.
Third Place Winner
Heres how to do that one:
The head I dyed was a Warrior Acclerator. I did it by first placing hot glue all over the unstrung stick.
Then, I put the top into Navy blue dye, and pulled it out slightly to make a fade to Carolina Blue towards
the middle. The throat area I left white. When I was done, I put the hard mesh piece in the dye and dyed
that a very dark navy blue.
