This site is being reformatted, and the new look will be up in about a week. Until then, updates will be few.
Were going to give this Lax News section a try. Instead of just having site news I figured why no put
something else on the main page, so this is it. Also, I'm working on a new article, quick tips, and
also working on the Lax Chat and the
Lax Forum.
Im working on the Lax Chat, as well as finishing up
some cool new stuff that should be up soon.
The How to Prevent Scoop Scratches is fixed up a
little. Also, the Lax Chat is having a few problems.
Its still up, but I'll be fixing some stuff shortly.
New section today, the Lax Chat section.
Now you can chat about lax in real time with others lacrosse 101 users. Also I brushed up the images
and compressed them so that the load time on this page was cut from 1 minute to 9 seconds.
I fixed up alot (and I do mean alot) of stuff that went wrong with the changeover. The images are fixed,
broken links are fixed and anything else that got messed up sould be straightened out.
Welcome to the new site of Lacrosse 101! In dedication to moving here, I've fixed up the
Hall of Fame a little more, and reformatted so
that the Stick Tech,
Reviews, and
Qand A sections are all grouped together under the
Articles section.
Fixed up Hall of Fame, prepped site for
changeover which will happen tommorow.
The Hall of Fame section is up
and runnning. Now you can vote for your favorite player and see if they make it to the hall of fame.
Also, I made some miscellaneous fixes, mostly spelling errors.
Yesterday went down in history as the day when the inaugural Lacrosse 101 newsletter went out.
If you would like to receive the newsletter and you don't already, subscribe
here to receive the best lacrosse
newsletter on the web. Finally, this site will be moving to the much more prestigious name of
www.laxmania.com. This is due to the fact that some person whos name will not be mentioned took
the domain name lax101.com about 18 hours before I tried to get it. The transition will take about 4 days,
between registering and transfering all the files. So for now both sites will be up. After that,
coming to this page will redirect you to the new page.
With any luck the Lacrosse 101 store will be up soon. Yes, thats right, you can buy stuff. I have plans
for shirts, shorts, mugs, etc. But, I need you guys to give me some original ideas for what the shirts
should say. So, if you have some kind of saying you would like on a shirt (it can't be used anywhere
else, like on another shirt from another company) let me know
and I'll start making some of them. Also, in the next couple of days there might be a few ad banners
flashing around on the top of the site. This is because in a desperate act to get some traffic, I'm entering
a banner exchange program, so for a few days your gonna have to cope with some banners. Next,

I've got new images to go on top of all of the top level pages. They're not the best but not too shabby
either. Next, in a couple of days I should be receiving an r705 shaft and an Assassin head from
Shamrock, so I'll probably write up some reviews for them. I wrote a new review in the
Reviews section, a review of the
Warrior Accelerator. I also rewrote the
STX X2 Review.
Lastly, the Lacrosse 101 banner got 10 times better.
Check out the first ever downloadable files.
In addition to that, I've gotten a new site search provider and I will be adding the seach bar into the pages
during the day today. The pages have been reformatted a little, with the mail this page to a friend button,
hit counter, and site search all in one bar on the bottom of the page. Lastly, if you haven't noticed I
placed a new banner atop all the pages. I know its not great but it's better than the last one.
A few more dead link fixes and spelling fixes. Good news, the
Downloads Section now has a file up for
viewing/download. Check it out
I just brushed up a little stuff, some colors and formatting of the
Guestbook, and the
Mailing list is brushed up. Also, I'm working on a
new stick tech article, it should be finished in a couple of days.
I just can't get this site search problem fixed, so I've taken it down until I do fix it. Sorry guys.
Also, there is a new poll under the college section that lets you predict who you think is going to
win the 2002 championship. Check it out
The site search problem has been fixed, and as soon as I receive the new code from them I'll fix it.
Also, I've been receiving some not so good comments so I'd like to see what you people say.
What should I do to improve this site?
The Tips for Goalie article is out, and the College Section is out, but it won't get much action until the season starts, when it does we will have standings, stats and predictions for the season.
I know the site search has problems, and I'll try to fix it soon. On the good side, today the Tips for Attack and Tips for Middie are out. Goalies, just one more day.....
Reformating of this page and the automated mailing list are now bug free. Also, another article for Practice Tips, Tips for Defense, has been written. The site search button is now on the top left corner of every page. Whether it works or not i don't know but it's there. Also, tips for attack, middie and goalie will be out within the week.
I've reformated the main page so that it only displays todays news, and not the past weeks news.
It makes for a smaller page with less clutter. Also, I have started the mailing list! For now you must
send me an email to subscribe but in the near future I hope to make it into a form.
Check it out.
Well, I'm back from my weeklong cruise in the Carribean, and now its back to reality.
I'm gonna be working double time to make up for all the time I missed.
An asterisk (*) before and after a date means that that date was signifigant, i.e. alot of changes
happened.
